Saying Goodbye to Pocket Albums: A Letter from Our Founder

From the very beginning, our Pocket Albums held more than just photos — they held the heart of Bloom Store.

They were our first product. The original idea. The quiet, sturdy foundation that carried so many of your memories. From baby photos and birthdays to weddings and weekends away, our Pocket Albums were there through it all, helping you keep hold of the moments that matter.

We created them to be simple, timeless, and functional. A way to bring your photos out of the cloud and into your hands. And over the years, it’s been an honour to watch them become part of your stories.

So why would we say goodbye to something so loved?

The truth is: Bloom Store is growing. And with growth comes change.

When we introduced our Peel & Stick Albums, we didn’t know just how much they would resonate. But it quickly became clear that you loved them. The freedom to layout your pages, the sleek covers, the ease of filling them in without needing photo pockets — they captured something new, something exciting. And we listened.

As more customers chose Peel & Stick Albums, we had a decision to make: continue restocking every product endlessly, or start focusing on what was clearly bringing the most joy. And as a founder, that was harder than I expected. The Pocket Album was our beginning. There’s a sense of loyalty and nostalgia tied to it that I didn’t want to let go of.

But I also believe in creating space for new stories.

We’re not saying goodbye to Pocket Albums forever. We truly hope to bring them back in the future, perhaps in limited editions or new designs. They still mean so much to us. But for now, we’re making room — physically and creatively — to expand our Peel & Stick range. New colours, new formats, new ways to make memory keeping easier and more meaningful.

This transition isn’t about walking away from something that mattered. It’s about leaning into what you’ve told us you love.

We still believe in printing your photos. In creating tangible archives. In preserving stories for the next generation. We're just doing it in a new way. One that reflects who we are today, and who we're becoming.

If you've collected Pocket Albums over the years, thank you. If you've just started, we're so glad you're here. And if you're ready to begin again with something new, we're right here with you.

With love,

Jessiika x
